This care center, situated in Bruges, was built for a hassle free lifestyle for seniors. In addition to the living accommodations for the residence, this building includes underground car parking, restaurant, bar, terrace, indoor pool, gym, rooms for hair dressers and health care professionals.

The technical concept consists of a central boiler room, with distribution to the decentralized heat exchangers, transposing the hot water from the boiler to the domestic hot water supply, and distributing to the floor heating (in the rooms) and radiators (in the bedrooms). A ventilation system D is applied with additional top A top cooling system is used to cool a building with the purpose of flattening the temperature peaks in the daily temperature gradient.

An integrated communication call system was chosen, including IP-TV, access control, domotics (intelligent home management system automation), CCTV and BMS are coupled together utilizing the data network.
