The project comprises two hotels for the Accor Hotel Group of varying service levels built in the same location. The 5 star luxury hotel Sofitel consists of 130 guest rooms and suites, as well as lobby, restaurant, bar and meeting rooms. The 4 star hotel Novotel consists of 150 guest rooms, with the lobby, restaurant and meeting rooms

The energy production is located centrally between both hotels. This allows hot water production to be distributed centrally to the 280 rooms, kitchens, bars, changing rooms, and other locations. The hot water pipes are made a multi layer plastic with an aluminum core and are sound insulated. The return temperature of the hot water plumbing is always above 55°C. It is also possible to disinfection these plumbing lines and the buffer vessels by increasing the temperature to 70°C, whenever the client requests this. All energy consumption (water, hot water, heating, cooling and electricity), that is divided into several zones are measured and centralized by the central management.
