Dijledal Sociale Huisvesting Leuven cvba', is the company responsible for the construction of the social housing project for the ‘Lolanden district’ of  Kessel-Lo, BE, consisting of  2 apartment blocks with 122 social housing units.  The residential project is spread over two buildings, which are connected by a common underground parking.

On the ground floor of one of the residential blocks there is a community center where local residents can go to the communal restaurant to socialize and network with their neighbours. Furthermore, there is also a nursery for children of all ages and 3 multi-purpose recreation />
Two central heating systems with condensing gas boilers provide heating for the apartment blocks.   The domestic hot water supply is produced centrally with the aid of solar water heaters, and if necessary, additionally heated via the central heating boilers. Each apartment is individually ventilated with a demand-controlled ventilation system (C +).

In view of the underground parking’s surface area, it was necessary to provide a smoke and heat extraction installation system, which is also permanently responsible for the CO levels and hygienic ventilation of the car park
