PIT is a new residential building complex part of the 'Anemone' master plan project for the City of Tienen, whereby 4 subdivisions have been realized on the former Province of Brabant’s boarding school for primary, & secondary education (Provinciaal Internaat Tienen- PIT) site. The school has now long ceased to exist but the school building and entire site is being repurposed into housing for various demographics.
The PIT building is ideally located: it lies between the residential area (Anemonenlaan / Hamelendreef), grassy fields, a tree orchard, an athletic track and the 8-hectare recreational domain Viander: a beautiful park a children's playground, petting zoo and fishing ponds. It is also a 5 minute bus ride from the Tienen’s City center.

The residential project consists of 92 apartments (1 to 4 bedroom apartments) for both young families and the elderly. Additional residential care services ensure that people can live independently longer. An underground two-storey car park is also available to the residents.

The project was built in two phases. Approximately 52 apartments were built in the first phase and 40 in the second phase. The MEPF system installations used in both buildings (fire safety protection, electrical installation, etc.) were designed to be integrated efficiently once all phases were completed.

There are approximately 22 different apartment configuration types with various building options/extras a homeowner could choose from to meet their personal comfort needs. For example, additional MEP installations such as split-units, an air-water heat pump, fire place etc. were options a homeowner could opt for.
