MSC Office in Antwerp Studiebureau Boydens

description

This new building includes offices and landscape meeting rooms landscape. Heating and cooling are achieved by means of heat pumps, coupled to ground energy storage field. External cooling loads can be reduced by means of blinds and awnings. Internal cooling load is minimized by using daylight control. Due to the considerably low cooling load (compared to a conventional design office), the cooling is achieved with high ice temperatures using the chilled ceiling. Heating is achieved with the end elements fed with low heating temperatures.
