Office renovation for Mastercard, Waterloo, BE Studiebureau Boydens

description

The technical installations and building shell of the  existing Mastercard  office building; located in  Waterloo;
will undergo a thorough transformation. The aim of the renovation is twofold: firstly, the comfort level for the users of the building needed to be raised and secondly, the energy required to match the desired comfort levels should not incur greater energy costs to bring all in line with the overall global ambition of Mastercard.

The entire indoor installation (cooling heating & ventilation delivery systems, lighting and plumbing) will be renewed, as will most of the energy generating systems.
/> A geothermal system has been chosen so that both cooling and heating can be generated at optimum efficiency and at a minimal operational cost. Climate ceilings will be responsible for cooling and heating in the offices.
In addition a new kitchen and restaurant will also be implemented to serve 350 meals.

The entire project is also subjected to a BREEAM assessment by boydens engineering.
