Founder Raymond Boydens passes away

With great regret, we announce that Raymond Boydens has suddenly passed away at the age of 88. Raymond founded the company in 1961 and as a passionate and dynamic engineer, he built up an impressive record. He took on challenging technical assignments and special projects such as the first seawater swimming pools on our coast, sports infrastructure such as the cycling track in Ghent, and many more. His entrepreneurship, work ethic and pursuit of quality, made boydens engineering grow into one of the most renowned companies in the sector. Although Raymond had been retired for several years while his sons Dirk and Wim continued his work in the company, the ins and outs were still close to his heart. Raymond's death is a great loss to his family, friends and all employees of boydens engineering. We will remember him with great respect.
