Project description:

The Campus site of “Ter Zee” Ostend project expanded to include a new special needs education facility whereby the following two schools have been relocated here:  Secondary Special needs School “Ter Zee” and the Primary  Special Needs School “De Vloedlijn.  Within the campus walls, fulltime & part-time special needs technical and vocational education and training will also be provided.

The new campus will accommodate workshop and technical rooms, ordinary classrooms and a theater section. The existing infrastructure of the site was also due for upgrading. For the “Ter Zee” & “De Vloedlijn” students there will be a new class block with space for administrative offices. Each part of the building has its own technical room (central heating system, with air handling units) and the techniques are adapted to the building according to their functional needs (workshops, classes, theater).
