Project description:

The Sint-Andreas primary school in Ostend consists of two floors both for kindergarten and primary education. The building volume also includes a sports hall. An energy-efficient condensing boiler is responsible for heating the building and generating hot water for sanitary facilities. The ventilation principle system D is applied whereby each functional room has a separate air group, thus simplifying the use of the rooms. The techniques are distributed via the roof towards the false ceiling in the hallways.

Like many projects in the education sector, the new building is a welcome gift so that the children can move from a run-down and worn-out building to a completely state-of-the-art new building.
