Project description:

 

The challenge for the Luxembourg-based architect Stefano Moreno of MORENO ARCHITECTURE was to maximize the amount of office space while ensuring maximum flexibility despite being situated in a complex urban corner site. One on One’s architecture consists of superimposed skewed volumes of glass and metal. This resourceful optimization of internal space offers high flexibility for accommodating open-plan or partitioned offices.

 

One on One is BREEAM “Excellent” certified. The BREEAM certification method is widely utilized throughout the world to assess and improve the environmental performance of buildings. This certification guarantees the building’s sustainability and low running costs via rational designs and smart technologies (i.e. excellent thermal insulation, energy-efficient condensation boiler, solar hot water production, and triple-glazed window). It also provides reassurance to the future occupants of a working surrounding that is pleasant, healthy and environmentally-friendly (via  maximum use of daylight, climatic and acoustic ceilings, permanent air treatment, automated lights, local comfort control via BMS system, and integrated security system).
