  • Geothermal applications

    Geothermal energy is clean, sustainable, energy efficient and cost effective. Geothermal heat pumps are significantly energy efficient compared to conventional heating systems. Since they draw heat from the ground in the winter and the reverse in the summer it is possible to take advantage of this resource to heat and cool buildings.

    The total amount of energy used by a NZEB in a year is roughly equal to the amount of renewable energy sources available or created on the site often provided by a smart thermal grid system, solar and wind power.
