This assisted living home consists of 48 unique residential units for seniors who want to live independently. They can count on 24/7 support, guidance and a wide range of services. This home allows seniors to live in their own home as long as possible  with the added value of support whenever requested.
The existing nursing home for the elderly had to further expand and renovate its premises to meet the growing needs of its residence and potential residence.  The result is a facility spread over 2 buildings, with 3 floors. (ground floor, 1st and 2nd floor). Each building a lift and a connection to the venue/service center, and other facilities such as the gym, wellness, hairdresser and cafeteria. The basement is utilized for the distribution of utility connections for the units and for auto and bicycle parking space with charging points for electric bikes/wheelchairs.  Outdoor parking is provided for visitors.   Each apartment has an entrance, a cozy living room, kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom customized with a walk in shower and toilet, storage space, and a terrace.  The multiple flats have a second bedroom that could be used as a hobby room, guest room or office. The existing attic space has been transformed into a technical space where the air handling units are located.
Other modern techniques are integrated into the entire building for maximum comfort and safety of its residents.


Each residential unit is equipped with domotics/home automation, wireless internet, call system and fire detection. There is also an all-out button which allows residents to switch off all electrical appliances in the kitchen with a press of 1 button.  In addition, there is an alarm call button system in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, in case of emergency.  Every resident gets a badge enabling access to the buildings restricting access for non-residents.

Two new boilers provide power to the combilus system.  Combilus refers to a common circulation line which supplies heat for heating and domestic hot water. The combilus is connected to decentralized units, which makes is possible to bill each resident separately for their heating consumption.
