Project description:

160 apartments and 8 retail spaces are being built in ‘The View’on the former firefighting site ‘Tweewaters’ in Leuven.

The building consists of 2 high-rise towers and 1 medium-rise building. These are connected via a 2-storey underground car park.

A dynamic simulation was used to determine the comfort balance between the insulation, the light transmission of the glass and the screens.

The high-rise towers are equipped with a central air group for ventilation. In the middle buildings, air groups are placed per apartment. This choice was partly driven by the size of the apartments and the optimization of the saleable area.

A heat network is planned throughout the building that will be connected to a public external heat network in a later phase.
